Who qualifies:

• South African citizen

• Not older than 26 years

• Unemployed and in financial need, household income up to R600,000 per year, preference if R350,000 or less per year

• Studying or intending to study full-time for your FIRST undergraduate qualification at a public university / university of technology / TVET College

• Academic: Matric with minimum 75% APS, or tertiary with minimum 65%

• Preference: Students with disabilities, Quintile 1,2,3 and rural / previously disadvantaged schools 35ce56a56a82b49d

Fields IDC funds:

• Finance / Commerce: Accounting CA, Financial Management, Internal Audit, Cost & Management Accounting, Investment Management, Risk Management, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Entrepreneurship, etc.

• Engineering: Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Mining, Metallurgy, Civil, Construction, Quantity Surveying

• Science & Tech: Analytical Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Geology, Environmental Science, Maths, Stats, Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Agriculture

• Law: BCom Law, LLB, Diploma Law, plus selected postgrad in Law if previously funded

• Postgrad only funded for: Finance, Accounting and Law 56a56a82

What it covers:

Full tuition, on-campus accommodation + meals (or capped off-campus accredited), meal allowance, transport allowance, and once-off laptop 6a82
